Volcan?s A?ejo Cristalino Tequila features a unique blending method that creates an aged taste while preserving vibrant agave flavors. This tequila is a blend of a?ejo and extra a?ejo tequilas that has been filtered to remove the color and wood impact often found in aged tequilas. A delicious, full-bodied blend of dried fruit, salted caramel, white chocolate, and vanilla emerges first, followed by traces of agave, sweet tobacco, desiccated coconut, and apricot yoghurt. The palate is silky and unctuous, with soft toffee pennies melting into waves of stone fruits, red apples, and barrel char. Creamy milk chocolate with a lot of vanilla is evident throughout. Salted popcorn, citrus, and roasted agave provide depth below. The finish is peppery and robust, with notes of tropical fruit, herbs, buttery vanilla, and honey.
